'It’s Your Child's Life' is a parental engagement programme which helps parents to help their children thrive in school. By giving parents a real insight into what their child is learning and how they are being taught, parents become the real partners in their child’s learning journey and become actively involved in their education.
Delivered by teachers rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, with vast experience and proven reputation of working with families of children with SEND and EAL, the programme has been described as ‘The Golden Ticket’ between home and school.
Through intensive support, parents are given guidance, advice, tips and tools they need to help their children strive for and achieve excellence. With a sound knowledge and understanding of EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum, our leaders have successfully delivered over 100 programmes in 40 schools across Liverpool, Knowsley, Wirral, Wigan and Norfolk working with over 750 families.

The Programme
Based on the London model 'It's Your Child's Life' Liverpool promotes parental engagement and empowers parents to become real partners in their child’s education. By providing parents with the confidence and tools they need, they can help their children develop skills associated with school readiness. This in turn impacts positively on their child’s ability to demonstrate a good level of development in many different areas making school a happy, positive and successful experience for both children and parents alike. The programme can be delivered to up to 10 parents in 6 or 12 weeks depending on the needs of the parents and schools. More details about the programme can be downloaded below.

'It’s Your Child’s Life' Catch Up Programme
HELPING PARENTS TO HELP THEIR CHILDREN CATCH UP ON LOST LEARNING
Catching up on lost learning at this time is especially important for the most vulnerable pupils in order to close the attainment gap that exists between disadvantaged pupils and their peers.
With a thorough grasp of the key principles that underpin DFE advice on catch up in EYFS and Key Stage 1, our teachers have developed a programme which identifies prime areas of learning where parents can support their children to catch up and thrive.
